Celebrated as a Pioneers by Sage-ing® International and members of their Council of Honored Sages, Bahira and her beloved Reb Shaya facilitated opening pathways for people to deepen their understanding of second half of life tasks and possibilities. They were co-founders and co-directed the Sage-ing® Mentorship Program and senior faculty emerits of the Spiritual Eldering Institute where, at Reb Zalman’s z”l request, they designed and implemented its leadership training program. They led life-transforming Sage-ing® Workshops for more than three decades while teaching and living the couple relationship as a spiritual path for even more years. They are considered wise spiritual guides and skilled teachers and group facilitators.

Bahira was initiated as a Traditional Reiki Master, ordained as a spiritual guide by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi z’l and was celebrated as an Eyshet Hazon v’Rofet Neshamot [Woman of Vision and Healer of Souls] by the ALEPH International Community. She is retired from her work as a Licensed Clinical Social worker and Marriage and Family Therapist, and Massage Therapist. She taught Reiki and T’ai Chi Chuan for decades and is renowned for her transpersonal and healing work.
