Training in the Laws of Kashrut and Eco-Kashrut as a Mashgiach/Mashgicha

This program is for those who want to be certified as a mashgiach/mashgichah in both the laws of  Kashrut and the ever-evolving ecological sensitivity called “Eco-Kashrut.”

With this certification you will be qualified to kasher and supervise a kitchen in your congregation, retreat sites, hotel kitchens, Hillel kitchens, summer camps, and more. You may also (by using our eco-kosher logo) certify local food products that meet both traditional kosher and eco-kosher standards.

  • Reading materials will be provided.
  • A guided practicum will be developed to meet your specific circumstances.
